Experience Oaxacan Cuisine at Casi Cielo

Casi Cielo, the new upscale dining experience on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, takes its inspiration from the Oaxacan region in Mexico. With a varied geography that includes coastal fishing areas, mountain ranges, and the rich soils of Central Valley, Oacaxa has produced a varied and dynamic culinary heritage.

Casi Cielo draws on those traditions throughout its menu, with mole sauces and Oaxaca cheeses being particular staples. The menu is organized into small tapas-style plates (an attractive standalone option if you’re just stopping by for drinks), soups and salads, tacos, and entrees. Popular dishes include the stuffed poblano pepper appetizer, the crispy pork tacos, and the pescado blanco halibut dinner. If you’re in a sharing mood, consider ordering a selection of small plates alongside the duck and pork carnitas, which can make for a tasty family-style meal. The restaurantís cocktail menu is extensive, centered on mezcal and rumótry the tepache or the Oaxacan peach punch.
